This artwork is a unique addition to both indoor and outdoor spaces. These Dutch-made Sparrows can easily be tapped into a wooden beam, tree stump or other material and bring coziness and atmosphere to any space.
The Sparrows
The family of Sparrows are hatched in 10 to 12 days, then the young sit on the nest for another 17 days. When the young Sparrows fly out they are fed by the parents for another 1 to 2 weeks. Feeding time!
Material properties of Corten steel
Our metal birds are made of weather-resistant corten steel, this material will, over time, get a characteristic rusty brown color due to the oxide layer that forms. This oxide layer protects the underlying material all year round. This way, these metal sparrows will be protected for years. Just like all other corten steel decorations that we supply, this metal bird is supplied in ''blank'' metal.

Care instructions
The weather influences ensure that the weather-resistant Corten steel acquires its characteristic rust-brown color over time. The oxide skin protects the deeper lying material so that it remains protected for years. All Corten steel products that we supply still have the appearance of "clean" metal when sold.
