The Winter King

The wren, a small European songbird, is known for its brown feathers and distinctive straight tail. It lives mainly in shrubs and gardens, where it feeds on insects and seeds. Despite its small size, the wren has a distinctive, loud song, especially in winter. These birds build nests in sheltered corners and remain active all year round, earning admiration for their tenacity, even in the colder seasons.

Material properties of Corten steel

Our metal birds are made of weather-resistant corten steel, this material will, over time, get a characteristic rusty brown color due to the oxide layer that forms. This oxide layer protects the underlying material all year round. This way, this metal Wren will be protected for years. Just like all other corten steel decorations that we supply, this metal bird is supplied in ''blank'' metal.
