The Swallow

Swallows are elegant birds with forked tails and long wings. They are known for their graceful flights and acrobatic movements as they catch insects in mid-air. Nesting in colonies, they build mud nests under eaves. As migratory birds, they travel great distances during seasonal changes and often symbolize the coming of spring. With their charming appearance and airy flights, swallows are a beautiful part of nature.

Material properties of Corten steel

Our metal birds are made of weather-resistant corten steel, this material will, over time, get a characteristic rust-brown color due to the oxide layer that forms. This oxide layer protects the underlying material all year round. This way, this metal Swallow will be protected for years. Just like all other corten steel decorations that we supply, this metal bird is supplied in ''blank'' metal.
