The Robin

Robins are often very curious and trusting. However, both males and females are very aggressive towards their own kind and fiercely defend their territory in summer and winter. They show their red breast feathers. Robins usually make their nests well hidden on the ground. Incidentally, the young do not yet have a red breast. You can help robins in the winter with dried mealworms, uncooked oatmeal or a seed mix.

Material properties of Corten steel

Our metal birds are made of weather-resistant corten steel, this material will, over time, get a characteristic rusty brown color due to the oxide layer that forms. This oxide layer protects the underlying material all year round. This way, this metal Robin will be protected for years. Just like all other corten steel decorations that we supply, this metal bird is supplied in ''blank'' metal.
